Our Manual Wheelchair Insurance cover is designed to ensure that if your manual wheelchair is stolen, damaged or involved in an accident it will be promptly repaired, or in certain circumstances, replaced. (Must be less than 2 years old.)
Backed by our prompt and professional service, our insurance also includes up to £2m liability cover. This protects you against any claims of negligence where it’s alleged that you have caused damage or injury to a third party or their property.

- New-for-old replacement for wheelchairs under 2 years old for theft, and up to 3 years old for accidental damage claims. If you’re not the first owner of the wheelchair, claims will be settled on a market value basis instead
- Recovery costs to get you home in the event of a breakdown or accident. You pay your expenses upfront and claim them back later, up to £100 per incident and £200 per policy year maximum claim limit applies
- Up to £2 million personal and attendant liability cover in case of accidental damage to third parties or their property while using your wheelchair
- From only £25 annually*
*£25 price is subject to manual wheelchairs not exceeding £2500 in value.

QDo you provide me with the funds to hire a wheelchair whilst mine is being repaired?
AYes, if your wheelchair has been out of use for a week we will cover the cost of hiring alternative equipment.

QWho do I call if I need to make a claim?
AIf you need to make a claim, please call us on 0333 331 3840 as soon as possible.

QAm I covered for punctures?
AIf you take out the optional Puncture Care policy offered when you take out Manual Wheelchair cover you will be covered for the cost of repairing a tyre puncture up to the policy limits.

QDo I have to insure my wheelchair?
AIt is not a legal requirement to insure your wheelchair. However the small amount you pay for insurance could protect you in the long run against costly repair fees or claim costs should you hurt someone or damage their property with your chair.

QWill you replace my wheelchair if it is damaged beyond repair?
AWe offer new-for-old replacement if your wheelchair is stolen or damaged beyond repair.

QDoes the policy include third party liability?
AYes. Fish wheelchair insurance includes third party liability cover.

QIs my wheelchair covered if I go on holiday abroad?
AYes, your wheelchair is covered worldwide for up to 21 days. Third Party Liability cover in USA & Canada is excluded.

QDoes this policy cover accidental damage to my wheelchair?
AYes, this policy covers the cost of repairs or a replacement product following accident.

AYes, our cover can offer protection for you and your NHS wheelchair.
